We are family run business based on a working farm on the foothills of Kilsyth, just outside Glasgow.
About Us
Allanfauld is a working beef and sheep farm which has been run by the MacGregor family since 1926. With a young family of five, Libby MacGregor set up the bed & breakfast business more than 20 years ago – she aims to provide a homely, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for guests, delivering a comfortable stay, with a quality home-cooked breakfast.
We have three rooms available within the farmhouse, and a self contained luxury wooden house situated in the garden, which sleeps 2-3 people.

Available on a bed & breakfast or self-catering basis. Sleeps 2-3.
The Farmhouse
Family room – Sleeps up to 4, in one double bed, a single bed and a pull-out bed. Double room and Single room.

Farmhouse – £45/person (including breakfast).
We provide a continental breakfast and/or a full Scottish cooked breakfast, cooked to your specifications. We can cater for most dietary requirements, by arrangement.
Ironing and washing facilities are available on request, as are cots and high chairs.
Check-Out Time – 10am
Dogs – No, sorry we are unable to accommodation dogs at this time.
Bike lock up – Yes we have a secure area for your bike.
Luggage after check-out – Yes you are welcome to leave your luggage and collect at a convenient time.
Food intolerances – Yes, if you lets us know 48 hours in advance we will cater for your dietary requirements.
Late arrival – Please contact us to arrange.
Bring own food – Yes you are welcome to provide all your own food and can use our cooking facilites.
Deposit – Required for stays of 3 nights or more
Cancellation – Please phone at least 24 hours in advance to cancel.
Location
Croy train station is five minutes drive away, where a short journey will take you to Glasgow, Stirling or Edinburgh. We are close to the Forth & Clyde canal, and a pick-up/drop-off service is available for walkers/cyclists.
