The Lodge The Lodge is a little piece of luxury situated in the garden at Allanfauld, looking out to the hills beyond Kilsyth. It can comfortably sleep two, either a twin or a double, and has a double sofa bed for a further two people if required. It is comfortable and cosy and includes a shower room, kitchen facilities and a lounge room. The Lodge is available as a self catering unit, or alternatively, breakfast can be provided in the farm house. The Lodge is open all year round, so please get in touch to check availability. Local Information: Both Glasgow and Stirling are a 20 minute drive away. Croy Train Station is two miles away, where a short train journey will take you into the centre of Glasgow, Edinburgh or Stirling. There is local access to a wide range of activities and facilities such as a swimming pool, a rock-climbing hotspot, golf courses, hill-walking, fishing and many other tourist attractions, such as Stirling Castle, The Colzium Estate and The Antonine Wall. The starting point for The West Highland Way is located in Milngavie, only a 30 minute drive away. |
